The 28-day plan is split into 7 phases (each lasting 4 days). Each phase builds off the phase before to incrementally get you performing more exercise.
Phase 1 requires just 2 x 1 minute of exercise per day – simply do the first minute of this video for four days. On day 5 (the start of Phase 2) this increases to 2 x 2 minutes until by day 25 you are doing the full 7-minute workout twice a day.
Starting easy and incrementing new behaviour like exercise gradually, is recognised as being the best way to build a sustainable habit. Habits are great as they don’t require much willpower or motivation – you just do them! This creates consistency and whenever you are consistent at something you generally see results!
